Pittsburgh-area literary organizations

• Pittsburgh Writers Project — workshops and events for local writers of all levels.
• City of Asylum — readings and events focused on writers facing persecution, plus a great community reading series.

Craft & process

• Self-Editing for Fiction Writers, Browne & King — the book most of us recommend first when someone asks about revision.
